Sonatina for Clarinet and Piano Op 29

The Clarinet Sonatina emerged from a conversation with clarinetist John Davies who gave it its first broadcast performance in 1951. Colin Bradbury was the first to play it on a National Youth Orchestra course and the first live performance was given by the young Colin Davis before he devoted his life solely to conducting. It is Arnold's most popular and performed work to this day! – Paul Harris
