Toyota Troubleshooting (Lane Centering): Why Does my Steering Feel Tighter in Cruise Control?

Описание к видео Toyota Troubleshooting (Lane Centering): Why Does my Steering Feel Tighter in Cruise Control?

Welcome to Belleville Toyota!

Today we are looking at the Lane Tracing Assist feature on your Toyota; more specifically, I will be showing you how to turn off Lane Centering, which is the feature responsible for adjusting your steering wheel to keep you inside the yellow or white lines while you are using Dynamic Radar Cruise Control.

Although this is a very helpful option that promotes safe driving for passengers, some drivers prefer to operate the vehicle on the highway without having the short and quick steering adjustments, so the steering is less stiff and more agile.

Included in this video is a brief explanation of the Lane Centering feature and a demonstration on how to operate steering controls to disable and enable this feature.

Please note that Lane Centering may only be available on Toyota vehicles equipped with Lane Tracing Assist (LTA), rather than Lane Departure Alert (LDA).

If you require an explanation of the Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, here is a link to that video on our channel:    • Toyota Cruise Control: Guide to the D...
