O'Connell tells us about a young Mexican boy, José Sánchez del Rio, who emerged as an unlikely hero and eventual martyr for the struggle for religious freedom in Mexico. He sacrificed his life as a witness to his Catholic faith during the Cristero war on February 10, 1928, one month short of his 15th birthday.
