How to - GME XRS-BT1 module install

Having trouble with or want to know how to install a GME XRS Connect BT1 Wireless PPT and Bluetooth interface in advance? Well you have come to the right place! In today's Project from the Shed, I install a XRS Connect BT1 module and set it up via the handpiece.

Just like many of my other projects, installation is really easy and is another basic project that you could get your kids involved in to build their self confidence and give them a sense of achievement.

The only issue you might have is if you try to pair the module without having updated the firmware on your base unit. This needs to be done to give you access to the menu needed to pair the BT1 module to your XRS radio. Once your firmware is all up to date the rest is smooth sailing.

The XRS BT1 module is a relatively compact hideaway design that can be mounted pretty much anywhere, just place them in a location that is close enough for the cable to the XRS base unit to reach.
