"Cassette Beasts" by Bytten Studio is an exciting and nostalgic indie RPG game that combines the charm of classic creature-collecting adventures with a unique twist, you become the monsters instead of catching them! The game is set in Wirral, a pixel-art world, reminiscent of the old Gameboy Advance Pokemon. Players embark on a journey of escape from the world in which they wash up on, solving mysteries, puzzles, and surviving the challenges of the wilderness they now find themselves in. To achieve that they can record then become, battle, and fuse together a diverse array of fantastical creatures. These creatures often referred to as monsters, or angels depending on who in Wirral you ask, are stored on special cassette tapes, allowing players to switch between them and use their unique abilities in turn-based battles.

One of the game's standout features is its innovative cassette fusion system, enabling players to merge their Cassettes, creating new and powerful hybrid creatures with a wide range of abilities and attributes.
