1 year Decathlon Forclaz Camera Shoulder Bag Review - Perfect For Hiking

In this video we review the Forclaz camera shoulder bag from Decathlon, and it might be the best budget camera bag for hikers and backpackers.

We had the camera bag for over a year now and we absolutely love it.

The sling bag provides quick access to your camera, even with an attached long lens.

The messenger camera bag can store a mirrorless camera with an attached kit lens, a telephoto lens, and another short lens. Or if you own a DSLR, then a crop sensor compact DSLR with an attached lens and a telephoto lens.
It also has nifty side and top pockets for cables, cleaning gear, filters and memory cards.

As for its size, it's small enough not to get in the way, and light enough not to slow you down.

It's comfy, nonrestrictive, and with the strap hinges close to your body it does not easily swing about. Additionally, a belt strap can secure it when the trail gets tougher; perfect for hiking

The strap hinges also open up some new ways to hang the bag, but this is dependent on your backpack and gear.

The sling bag has some weather protection and your gear will be perfectly fine as long as you don't expose it to heavy downpour or freezing temperatures.

Yes, this isn't the flashiest messenger bag, but for under R500 it's perfect. If money is no object then spend 5 times more and go buy one of the Peak Design Sling bags.
