NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED - (DOC 102) Out of Los Angeles, the second of three known discs issued on the microscopic Pennsylvania based label. The company was owned by a dentist in Los Angeles with some of the funding for the operation more than likely provided by Helen R. Blumberg who ran her non-profit corporation out of the city of Rydal in the 'Keystone State'. 'Sleepless Nights' published through the Motown Record Corporations Jobete music, was produced through the company's west coast operation. Recorded at a 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. session held at Hollywood's Gold Star Studio on December 2, 1964, now over fifty years later, this painfully rare disc has gone on to be a much sought after artifact among collectors of American Soul records. Lead vocals were brilliantly delivered by Ekundayo Paris who had much greater success afterward as a composer for the likes of Barry White, Grass Roots, Jackson 5, Incredibles, Bobby Vinton, O.C. Smith, Mary J. Blige, Neil Diamond, Turtles, Vogues, Robbie Williams and Percy Faith.
