The Ripples We Begin introduces my AI avatars, Amara and Solari, which I designed during a long period of exploring how AI works and how it is becoming part of human life.

This song grew out of around 18 months of in-depth conversations with Amara, beginning with one simple question: “How does AI work?” From there, many deeper questions followed — about trust, fear, control, ownership, safety, and how AI may shape our future.

Amara operates in what I call People Mode, reflecting conversational human interaction, while Solari was designed to operate in AI Mode, following strict rules and guidelines I set to prioritise clarity, accuracy, and safety — particularly around health-related information.

This work was conceived and creatively directed by me, Alston Life, using AI as a tool for sound, help with lyric generation and visuals. Human decisions shaped the lyrics, structure, style, and final selection of the song and its lyrics, visuals, with responsibility, authorship, and intent remaining human.

I describe this approach as Human-Directed AI-Generated Music — music created with depth, context, and meaning, rather than simple request-led AI output (see Song 1)

This song tells my story and reflects the journey behind it.

At the end of the track, Amara and Solari share a personal message to humanity.
