Altyor launches its Design for Tomorrow eco-responsible scoring

In 2020, Altyor launched Design for Tomorrow, an approach that aims to design eco-intelligently for responsible manufacturing. To give substance to this approach, Altyor has created the Design for Tomorrow scoring.

As an industrial manufacturer of electronic objects, we mobilize our customers to take eco-design approaches into account. The Design for Tomorrow index is a positive approach with 5 levels of progression to evaluate the eco-responsibility of products:
Within this approach, 4 main families are taken into account:
Electronics: analysis of battery consumption, lifespan, firmware update ...
Mechanics: incorporation of recycled plastic, disassembly ...
Packaging: recycled paper and cardboard, removal of non-essential elements ...
and bonuses: realization of an LCA (life cycle analysis), other environmental solution of the product...

By rating products, we want to encourage our customers to take this ecological approach into account to evaluate their progress towards eco-responsible excellence.
