Today we are going to show you how to unlock ALL 22 Secret characters in Crossy Road covering the release Australian Update, Chinese New Year's Update, the UK & Ireland, the NEW Micro Update Update, the Korean Update and the Pac-Man Update, Halloween Update and Christmas Update! We also show a short Gameplay video of most of the characters!
In this walkthrough tutorial the Crossy Road mystery characters unlocks and gameplay of Purple Bloop, Yeti, The Totem, Inky, Pinky, Clyde, Blinky, Pro Gamer, Michael Boom, Jughead / Ace, Rugby Player, the Loch Ness Monster Nessy (usually spelled Nessie), Leprechaun, the red Telephone Box, Hipster Whale, Gifty, Crab, Drop Bear, Cai Shen, the developers Andy Sum, Ben Weatherall and Matt Hall are shown.

The COMPLETE GUIDE to unlock all Crossy Road Characters named ???

Christmas / Holiday Update:

Purple Bloop:
Play as the Grablin character. The Grablin will turn Crossy Road into a clicker game: You can beat Crossy Road characters by tapping and swiping the screen, they will have a hitpoints bar and different levels, so it will get more and more difficult to beat the enemies. It is said, that you have to beat a enemy of level 35 or above. We unlocked Purple Bloop three times so far using this method, but one time it didn't work out. Hence, our guess is that it's rather a certain amount of taps and swipes than the exact level of the enemy. Most likely you will need 500 taps, which is around the time, when you have beaten a level 35 enemy.

The Yeti:
Play as one of the Xmas characters like Snowman, Elf, Pudding, Reindeer or Tio de nadal, festive chicken, which is free for a limited time might work too. The world will turn into a new and all white snowy winter wonderland. What you have to do now is to search for the Yeti character who is throwing snowballs. Get hit by one of the snowballs and die. This will unlock the all new Yeti character.

Monument Valley/ Shooty Skies Update:

The Totem of Monument Valley:
Play as one of the Monument Valley characters Ida, a Crow or the Storyteller and look for a floating totem head in the water. Jump on its head and once you die the Totem is unlocked. It's very similiar to the Mystery Character Unlock of Hipster Whale or Nessie unlock.

Christmas Update:
For Gifty you have to play the Festive Chicken in Winter Wonderland. Once you hear the Christmas Music you know, you are near a field with a Christmas Tree, which will gift you with Gifty.

Chinese New Year's Update:
For the speciel character Cai Shen you have to play one of the Chinese New Year Characters like the Fortune Chicken or Xi. In the Chinese New Years Level with all the Pagodas and Fireworks, you have to collect 21 or more of the red envelopes in total. They can be obtained in different rounds, so you can die in between.

The three developers added themselves as a Crossy Road hidden character. To unlock the developers you have to play their favourite characters and beat your high score or at least get a great score, which is considered to be higher than 86% of your high score. Furthermore your score must be at least 50.

For Andy Sum you have to play the Mallard.
