How to analyze topic performance in HubSpot

In this HubSpot tutorial, we will walk you through how-to analyze topic performance in HubSpot.

Topic performance in HubSpot measures the impact of your content strategy and analyzes how your SEO topics are performing in search results.

Steps to follow:

Step 1. To Analyze overall topic performance, in your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing, go to Website and click SEO.

Step 2. Click the Topics tab.

Step 3. Use the Date range dropdown menu to filter performance metrics by a specific period.

Step 4. To edit the metrics shown here:

Step 5. In the upper right, click Switch Columns.
Select the checkbox for each metric you want to display

Step 6. Click Save to apply these changes to your SEO dashboard.

Step 7. To view your Pillar page and subtopic keyword content performance
Click the Topics tab.

Step 8. Click the name of a topic. Click the Content Performance tab.

Step 9. In the upper left, use the Date range dropdown menu to filter your data by a specific time period.

Step 10. Now in the main dashboard, it will show the performance of the Pillar page, Subtopic Content,

Step 11. To access traffic analytics for topics directly from the SEO tool dashboard.

Step 12. Navigate back to SEO Dashboard from the top right

Step 13. In the upper right, click View topic analytics. This will lead you to the traffic analytics tool, where you can analyze the traffic data to your topic clusters.
