Tanjuro Kamado (竈門 炭十郎 Kamado Tanjūrō?) was the husband of Kie Kamado and the father of Tanjiro Kamado, Nezuko Kamado, Takeo Kamado, Hanako Kamado, Shigeru Kamado, and Rokuta Kamado.

Tanjuro is a quiet, calculating, forgiving and respectable person. He has a peaceful relationship with his family and regularly lectured Tanjiro about life.
