Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew to REMARRY? Palace refuses to be drawn on BIZARRE claim


SARAH FERGUSON and Prince Andrew have been spotted side by side at many royals events over the past year, sparking speculation they may still be a couple. But Buckingham Palace has now addressed a bizarre claim the pair have set a date to remarry.


The Duke and Duchess of York proudly sat together as they watched their youngest daughter Princess Eugenie get married to Jack Brooksbank at Windsor Castle last October. The pair even went on holiday with their daughters earlier this year and were seen at the Bahrain Grand Prix. A royal source reportedly told Australian magazine New Idea that Sarah and Andrew will get married again on the Duchess of York’s 60th birthday on October 15.


But Buckingham Palace has refused to be drawn into internet speculation and refused to comment on the extraordinary rumours when contacted by Express.co.uk.

The source reportedly told New Idea: “Andrew is fast-tracking their wedding plans. There’s been no shortage of celebrations among Andrew, Fergie and their daughters Beatrice and Eugenie, toasting their renewed love.

“Andrew wants their marriage official and he’s really hoping they’ll be able to marry later this year. They’re planning to officially remarry on Fergie’s 60th birthday in October and there is a lot of behind-the-scenes planning going on.”

Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew got married on July 23, 1986 at Westminster Abbey in London.


They welcomed two daughters Beatrice and Eugenie during their marriage, but got divorced in 1996 after separating in 1992.

But they have remained on good terms over the years and even lived together in the Royal Lodge between 2008 and 2015.

Royal fans also seem to be hoping the couple will rekindle their lost love.

Sarah posted a picture on Instagram of her laughing next to Andrew and their daughters at The Colonel’s Review with the Grenadier Guards last week.



This resulted in fans commenting on the post and calling for the pair to get married again.

One social media user said: “Remarry, we want to see you and the Duke having great everlasting love stories.”

Another person wrote: “Just re-marry and make us all happy,”

A third added: “I have be waiting for that announcement for years.”
