As someone with Irish heritage, a trip back to the Homeland was always high on my bucket list. In February 2023, I made my first trip there along with my sister. We visited several of the most well known sites including the Cliffs of Moher, the Ring of Kerry, and the Blarney Stone. For me, one of the most captivating places was Cork, where the family on my mother's side emigrated from in the late 1800s. Standing at the dock from where the ship would've departed was a surreal experience. Sláinte!
