Avadhoota Toppi Amma @ Tiruvannamalai, Tamilnadu

The second lead we got from the mail was of an Avadhoota known by Toppi Amma..it was when i saw the photo that i immediately recognised the woman image. Everytime i visited Yogi Ramsuratlumar's ashram, to pay a visit to his samadhi, i would often see a lady outside, in dirty clothes and hurling abuses into the air. So, i had judged her as a lunatic, as must have the thousands, who visit here. I recollected her running around with a stick and hitting stones or fences but never hurting anyone. I was taken aback now by my own judgements.

In jagrit Siddha Bhoomis like Tiruvannamalai, one must be very, very careful. There are thousands of Yogis, beggars, weird people all around and it is a whole mixture of all kind of people, including imposters. Since it is impossible to ascertain anyone's consciousness by the mind or logic, it It is best to be mindful and alert all he time of every being here, for you will never know who is who. Its my personal experience of having profound experiences with people sometimes who sit amog beggars or devotees in the temples - they can be Siddhas, Avadhoots or saints. Most of them actually disguise themselves into such just to avoid unwanted crowd. But if they wish to bless you, nothing can stop this event. There are many signs and symbols that can help you identify these aspects in evolved beings, which i will try to make a video about it some time in the future. But in any case, it is always best to just be observant and witnessing people and other living beings too (yes even animals!) Will sometime later also share my personaly experiences with evolved beings in the form of animals that i have encountered in my spiritual travels.

So, we go to Yogi Ramsuratkumar's ashram and as soon as we enter the ashram, for the first time ever i saw Amma sitting silently and that too in padmasana. She was completely in trance. We sat next to her and meditated and it was a wow experience. I sat there and thought deeply how difficult it is to ascertain a genuine liberated being.

We then went to visit Yogi Ramsuratkumar's Samadhi. We came out and found her still seated in the same place, same position. But as soon as we reached close to her, she got up and left towards the exit without turning back at all. She then went and sat outside the gate where our vehicle was parked. She sat still facing the Arunachala hill that is clearly visible from this ashram. Again, as soon as we rreached close to her, as we were moving towards the car, she got up again and began walking durhee towards the main exit of the ashram. As we exited the main gate of the ashram, we saw her seates on the side of the main gate, but avoiding all eye contact with us even when we passed by. All this was able to shoot in bits and club it up in this video.
