Playing the blues takes a lot of soul. A lot of heart. You gotta pull from deep down. And you can't just throw the blues scale at it! I'm gonna show you what I call "finding the blues everywhere." Combine the traditional blues scale with the "sweet" scale and get the best of the major and minor colors of the blues. Beginner, intermediate, or advanced players can benefit from this, but especially if you are a player who wants to get into improvisational music. Learning the blues language is so important. The blues is everywhere – pop, jazz, country, soul, R&B, you name it! It's the lesson I wish I had years ago, but I'm giving it to you now!
