You want to talk to us about new membership.

So over the past few years at NAHCA we have tried to look for ways to make membership more affordable to members.

And over the past six months we've been tossing some ideas around with the board of directors and with the staff.

So we've all came to an agreement that membership is going to be at an affordable 30 dollars a year for everyone.

Thirty dollars a year to some people who may be like well I still can't afford it or some people are going to be like That's great.

So I won't try to justify a where can you get the 30 dollars from someone like me.

You know I like fruit snacks and soda.

So take him in consideration how many times you buy those.

And you know stop buying them for a few times and invest in yourself and become a member with NAHCA.

So part of the membership a big thing is you'll get twelve hours of federally mandated education through NVCC which you've done some education through there right.

How is it you do would you say the system is pretty user friendly.

I think it's very friendly for someone that doesn't really hang out a lot on computer.

Yeah.

If I was able to keep up with it and every thing.

So it's it's a good tool.

I agree.

And then some other benefits of our NAHCA membership.

You will get recognized in the NAHCA edge which is our monthly newsletter.

A big thing which I think this is just great.

You'll get a discount on CNA membership and in some previous years we have done a member discount on CNA membership our CNA Fest registration fee and we kind of backed away from that but we're gonna get back into it to honor our members and say hey thank you for being a member and now you can get a discount for your membership.

Another thing we'll start doing in the end of February is a live interactive Facebook video so you can come on and ask questions industry related questions anything specific to your job.

Maybe you're going through the CNA education and you need pointers.

And my goal is to grow that number of people watching that live more and more every single month.

There are just different resources in there.

A regulation book is a big thing in there.

So the next thing would be text alerts we send out different alerts letting you know breaking news in the industry.

Maybe a holiday card you'll never know.

And then we have a membership certificate and a membership card which just allow you to honor your membership and show other people carry it around in your wallet and then CNA TV.

That's a benefit to all of our members because we want to continue to educate you and empower you to grow within the industry.

For those active members out there that are wondering like what's going to happen to my membership Karren is something you actually ask this morning I did and with you being a premiere member let's say you paid your membership in January 2019 to be a premiere member.

We're going to continue to honor what falls under that membership until the following year.

So you will get your year's worth of membership that you paid for premiere and then when it comes time for you to renew you will renew at the thirty dollar membership and it will be 30 dollars annually.
