FREEZING CAKE LAYERS 101 | 5 Steps To Properly Freeze Cake Layers To Keep Them Moist & Delicious

Freezing cake layers is one of my favorite baking tricks. It allows me to save so much time by baking the cakes ahead, and decorating on another day. Freezing cakes also makes the decorating job so much easier, when the cake is nice and firm as opposed to crumbly when they are fresh baked. Freezing cake layers, if done right, will also keep the moisture and fresh taste of the cake for as long as possible. In this video I share with you how to wrap and store your cake layers as well as how long to keep them frozen for and best ways to thaw your cakes for decorating.
