I was playing a round of Albion conquest in Battlefield 1 & I wanted to fly the battlefield 1 heavy bomber. Albion is a great map for the heavy bomber so I tried to get one at the beginning of the round. I didn't get it so I spawned in the back gun of my teammates heavy bomber. This pilot had no idea what they were doing because we were flying at the flight ceiling so I couldn't get any with the back gun & this pilot was unable to accurately bomb infantry. Eventually I saw somebody bailed from a heavy bomber so I got out to try and get it but it went out of bounds & I was unable to chase it down. However I landed in the perfect spot as a enemy heavy bomber came by & the pilot bailed out for some reason so I stole it! Definitely a funny moment! Battlefield 1 Ilya-Muromets (Heavy Bomber)
The Ilya-Muromets (simply referred to as the Heavy Bomber) is a vehicle featured in the In the Name of the Tsar expansion. As a heavy bomber, it differs from the other available bombers (the Caproni Ca.5, Gotha G.IV, Airco DH.10 and Hansa-Brandenburg G.I).
It carries a pilot and two gunners. The rear gunner (2P) is equipped with a 20mm Autocannon, while the front gunner (3P) uses a Lewis Gun. A teammate can spawn in a holding area for paradrop (4P), and can also use their own equipment (including the Repair Tool). The Ilya-Muromets is a large, slow but tough bomber that can be trickier to operate than its contemporaries because of its lower manoeuvrability. Its main advantage is its larger health pool and carried payload, allowing it to soak up a greater volume of enemy anti-aircraft fire during bombing runs that are far more deadly than that of standard bombers.
Battlefield 1 is a first-person shooter game that emphasizes teamwork. It is set in the period of World War I, & is inspired by historical events. Players can make use of World War I weapons, including bolt-action rifles, submachine guns, automatic & semi-automatic rifles, artillery, flamethrowers, & poison gas to combat opponents. Players can also take control of various armored vehicles, including light & heavy tanks, armored trucks, cars, torpedo boats, bi- & tri-plane aircraft, an armored train, reconnaissance vehicles, a dreadnought, & an M-class zeppelin, as well as ride horses into battle.
