KZ 650C ( yes THAT one) first ride out

I've had this bike for some time. It came to me with noisy 4-1 exhaust, the wrong brake calipers fitted to the front discs...(bonkers as they only contacted half the brake pad), the wrong handlebars, no turn signals, pod filters, some home made luggage holders and it hadn't been run for many years. In short it was something of a dog but I thought it would come back to stock..
The handlebars etc was easily fixed and the bike was running nicely after some carb work. After much searching we found an original exhaust system in America with a No 4 header short, a single caliper for the left side but none for the right so we had a long wait whilst a right was sourced and the missing header eventually located in Ohio.
Now it's all together, looks great and we're ready for that first ride...will it hold gears, perform as hoped, stop well... handle well? Lets see.
