For reference, this demo was recorded DI with a 1985 B.C. Rich NJ Series Mockingbird with passive humbuckers, and this is demo 1 of 2 for this set of demos.

Ivy Pedals Sifter Fuzz consists of a semi-gated fuzz/distortion and an analog low-pass filter with a complex frequency response. The Filter knob allows the user to sweep away until they find the right tone for the occasion, and volume of course controls the output level. The Filter knob is the main attraction here, as it is a filer with emphasis that changes depending on the setting. In classic fuzz style, this effects' distortion flavor is affected by the type of input. These range from squishy, zipper fuzz tones to semi-standard distortion tones.
