The World Book of Records, London, has certified Rajasthan for planting 17,43,999 saplings of five rare and endangered species across the state on the 28th of July. This achievement was part of the 'Ek Per Maa Ke Naam' and 'Hariyalu Rajasthan Abhiyan' campaigns, which saw participation from nearly 70,000 schools. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, who led the initiative, stated that the recognition is an honour for every citizen. He said it "reflects Rajasthan's resolve for green Rajasthan, developed Rajasthan." The certification marks a significant milestone in the state's efforts towards environmental conservation and sustainable growth, a global achievement that the Chief Minister dedicated to the people of Rajasthan.
