Madhukar Swayambhu has been an IT communication network professional (over two decades since 1995) and turned into a researcher cum environmentalist in 2011.

He is also an ecologist, inventor, entrepreneur, biodiversity conservationist, a TED speaker, and a recognised Global Top 3 Author on Water by Smart Water Magazine (Spain). He has worked with various multinationals in IT networking domain and established or expanded their business across India, SAARC, and SEA countries in his various portfolios. His last assignment in the IT network communication backbone domain was heading the operation in SAARC countries and India.

He along with his colleagues founded Vaidic Srijan LLP – a climate tech start-up in India, after a decade-long research into Vaidic sciences in their quest to find out sustainability and holistic solutions to global problems. They have invented a technology for restoration of soil, water, and air through their conjunction points, that is, natural surface waterbodies and wetlands, which they call “Cownomics® Technology.
