Daniel Deronda [Thinking of You]

Beautiful song for the classic story of a philanthropic young man and a self-absorbed young woman who are drawn together in a mutual connection to the British aristocracy but whose disreputable birth and declining fortune, respectively, compel them to adopt a new philosophy to life. When frivolous Gwendolen Harleth accepts a marriage proposal to a brutal baronet, she turns to generous-minded Daniel Deronda whose optimism and open heart endear him to everyone he meets. Although sadly, this couple does not end up together, it was lovely to imagine what might have been. Go and see the miniseries for yourself.
