We currently live in a world where men still carry the majority of the power in almost every industry and culture in the world. With so many of the inequalities women, LGBTQ+, and others face being brought further into the mainstream's consciousness, what role does masculinity play in creating systemic change?

In this keynote talk Daniel shares his personal journey of navigating through the rigid archetypes of masculinity our society often confines men to. And will speak about how we can reconstruct masculinity to better serve us all, men included.

Daniel Edmund is a dynamic Speaker, Presenter, Filmmaker and Social Entrepreneur. His work is largely based in social action and system change. Daniel is passionate about making this world more equitable for everyone in it, especially women, People of Colour, LGBTQ+, young people, etc. He is the host of the podcast Race & Gender Unfiltered and is currently working on his debut documentary under the same name.

In 2015, Daniel got his start in professional speaking at TEDxBristol where he spoke to an audience of over 2,000 people on the issue of men’s mental health. Since then he has gone on to meet His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales at his summer home at Highgrove, speak at Kensington Palace for Hublot alongside Rio Ferdinand and join the L’Oreal and Prince’s Trust #AllWorthIt campaign with Dame Helen Mirren, amongst other things.
