In a significant stride towards enhancing security and fostering peace in J&K, Indian Army is training 1104 J&K police officers and trainees including ladies at Corps Battle School in Bhalra, Doda. Army in collaboration with J&K Police has undertaken joint training activities aimed at increasing synergy, interoperability and understanding the strengths along with the ethos and culture of each other. A fresh batch comprising 62 DSPs and 1042 trainee Police Sub Inspectors (PSIs) probationers are being trained trained under the watchful eyes of Army and Police instructors. This batch includes 19 lady DSPs and 109 lady PSIs. The police personnel will gain immense experience from Indian Army on the completion of the training. It will help them in understanding and undertaking tasks in prevalent security scenario in a better manner.
