Biotechnology is one of the prime subjects as such and it becomes very important when it merged with pharmacy or medical science. in biotechnology and pharmacy practical, we need to fix the movement of an enzyme of our interest, the fixation becomes so important because it restricts the passage of carrier and allows the only enzyme to move across. and the biggest advantage of immobilization is that we can recover the enzyme after its use and can be used so many times. Immobilization is a technique in which restrict the movement of the enzyme in a carrier matrix. Immobilization plays important role in fermentation as it allows to recover the enzyme even after the completion of the process too. we have divided this experiment in two simple steps-
1- Prepared the Immobilized cell by immobilizing the hole yet in sodium alginate.
2- Use both types of yeast that is immobilized and immobilized
3- Wait for few days to observe the changes in balloon size.
4- Try to recover Yeast from both conical flasks
Enzyme immobilization, Fermentation, fermentation with enzyme immobilization, are the basic use of enzyme immobilization technique.
