TRIAC working, TRIAC Working in AC Circuits, Thyristor, Triac || Phase Angle Control. i explained triac working. triac is a four layered semi-conductor component, which falls in thyristor family, it is mainly used in ac circuits (as the scr silicon controlled rectifier is used in dc circuits) it remains in conduction until its current remains above the latch current, when current drops than the amount of latch current its internal circuit disconnects the load. i demonstrated the working of the thyristor using real time animation of the signal on the digital storage oscilloscope dso. the triac is used power electronics to control the firing the gate (trigger the gate of the triac) to flow the current to the load by mans of controlling the switching angle of the triac.
