David Steffen - Me Is We - A Song For Syria // A Song For Peace

I rewrote this song based on the overwhelming experience I've made during our workshop for Speak Syria. War brings out our most brutal and ugliest face but also reveals the beauty of humans in helping, sharing the power of love and the respect for each other. I've met such incredible, great people who inspired me and helped us realizing our project. Thank you so much for your support! Were all thinking of you and we're working on continuing our project
And thank u guys for inspiring us with your amazing work in building and organizing schools and hospitals for the syrian refugees. I admire your courage and strength and I loved your warmth and sense of humor! First of all our friends and translators Louay Jerf and Zaher Sai'd and all the people we met at the بيت قامشلو - kamishlo house, the Future Builder School, the Yasmin Baladi group, the Free Syrian School, the Anatolia Cafe in Reyhanli and the Syrian Medical Center (SMC), also thanks to Ewi Ami and Organisationskomitee Syrische Revolution Stuttgart and of course Waled Dabak.
