Jet Ski Adventure: Long Beach to Catalina Island

Join me on an epic jet ski journey from Long Beach, California, to the stunning Catalina Island! We started at 7:30 AM, and despite a little fog, it was a beautiful California morning. After signing in and gearing up (wetsuits and life vests), we received a quick safety briefing and hit the water. The ocean was so clam it felt more like being on a lake. Our first stop was a buoy where we spotted some sea lions lounging around. Shortly after, we encountered a pod of dolphins!

We arrived at Two Harbors just as the fog lifted, revealing clear blue skies. It was time for lunch and a short hike to explore the area. After lunch we visited the nearby Blue Cavern Cave. We left our jet skis to swim through this breathtaking natural wonder. On our return trip, the waves were a bit larger but still manageable. Overall, it was an unforgettable adventure filled with wildlife and stunning scenery. Check out Jetski2Catalina, they're awesome!

Packing Tips:
Before the trip, I wasn't sure what to take. Here are some essentials you might consider:

Water shoes
Sunscreen
Chapstick
Sunglasses with a strap
Towel
Change of clothes for the island
Lunch (to avoid the island prices)
Plenty of water
The jet ski has a large storage compartment that can hold two to three backpacks, but make sure everything is in a waterproof bag to keep it safe and dry.
