Can a Bigsby Stay in Tune? Advanced Guitar Setup Techniques

In last weeks’ video, I discussed how to do a basic set-up using the T.R.A.I.N. method of guitar setup. (You can watch the full video here:    • Mastering the Basic Setup using the T...  ) Sometimes, however, a “Basic” setup just won’t cut it. On those occasions, more advanced techniques might be required. In today’s video I discuss a few of the advanced techniques that you might need to employ when working on instruments. I will cover sprouted frets, rounding the fret ends, two different methods for polishing frets, repairing minor damage to a fret, and the big one: How in the world can you get a Bigbsy style tremolo to stay in tune?

Well, of course, the guitar is an entire system, so it’s not just one thing. I make sure the Bigbsy is installed properly, and lubed properly, but then I treat the nut. You can watch me do that and maybe learn something in this video.
