LONGTAIL BOAT TRIP IN KOH PHI PHI | Maya Bay, Pi Leh Bay & bioluminescent plankton!

Today we went on an adventure to Koh Phi Phi Leh by wooden long tail boat. First we stopped at monkey beach and hung out with some very tame monkeys, and went snorkeling for a while. Then we headed over to the famous Maya bay from the movie "The Beach" to enjoy the pristine waters that were only opened a few days prior. There were a TON of tourists there however, but we made the best of it.

After Maya bay we went to Pi Leh bay, and it was a welcome respite from the heavily touristed areas. We swam in the clear blue waters for about an hour before heading to watch the sunset.

As we went to see the sunset, it started raining, so we ended up waiting about an hour before it became dark. Once it was dark, we snorkeled around in the dark and deep waters admiring the luminescent plankton.

We then sailed back to Koh Phi Phi Don, and went out to enjoy fire dancing and tourist Muay Thai fights before going to sleep.
