►Biography

"While 140 bass music has travelled far and wide and tested the finest sound systems from across the world, there are two producers who call Cardiff, Wales home who have been making some of the finest music the sound has ever witnessed.
Nanobyte have been drawing from a range of diverse inspirations to produce some of the deepest, uplifting and melodic dubstep together since 2008. Known for their beautifully smooth basslines, the duo combine a love of film scores, popular culture and the true system sound to create cinematic soundscapes while staying true to the classic dubplate sound.

"Initially making their mark with the ethereal 'Kalyke' EP on InnamindRecordings in early 2012, Simon and Anthony have since followed with some of the most in-demand releases across digital, CD and vinyl. Their sound has seen support from the scene's hottest labels, including Uprise Audio and Kokeshi, alongside newer imprints like FKOF and InTheNameOfKill.

"Unsurprisingly many of dubstep's most respected tastemakers, including Vivek, N-Type, Author (official)'s Jack Sparrow, Kaiju and TRUTH, have championed the Nanobyte sound. 2013 was a stellar year for the duo and, with a move away from the confines of the deeper, darker side of 140 bass music to a more musical outlook, 2014 can only build on their successes."
