Polar Lights large scale Godzilla build

This video is on my build of Polar Lights large scale kit model 1954 Godzilla.

Pros: Pretty easy construction, good fit, not much flash and excellent detail.

Nitpicks: Due to its size you are going to need a lot of putty for seams.
This model is sold as a 1/144 scale kit but at 16" tall, when calculated using the standard 164' tall (50m) measurement of the original creature, it actually scales out at about 1/123 scale.
The type 61 tank scales out at about 1/137 (close enough that it does not really matter) but In the 1954 movie the tanks were actually M-24 Chaffees. The type 61 was used in the movies made in the 1960s. I cut off the muzzle brake to make it look more like a Chaffee and added some decals.
No decals for tank.

If you are a Godzilla/TOHO fan, a creature or kaiju modeler or just want to do something different I rate it as a "must buy".
