The only real difference between this and the regular P12 is the use of ball bearings, while the regular P12 uses a fluid bearing. As a result, the CO version has audible ball bearing noise, but it has a 10 year warranty, instead of the regular P12's 6 years. Its up to you if that's worth it or not. Keep in mind that this kind of ball bearing noise is likely to easily go away when this fan is inside a case, as high frequency white noise (which this ball bearing noise basically is) is easily dampened.
