Onboard 17411 Mahalaxmi express led by Pune WDP4D 40577. I was onboard from Pune to Kolhapur but recorded videos after Miraj jn i.e in daylight and this was totally worth !! Miraj Kolhapur route is full of farms, rivers, villages which nostalgic feeling of travelling to native place.
About train - Mahalaxmi express is a very good option if you are finding way to reach Kolhapur. I will suggest this train over Koyna express which is a Intercity kind of train and important for in between stations. Sadly Sahyadri express is not running between mumbai and kolhapur which was my personal fav train to kolhapur as it had Alco after Pune jn.
