This aircheck features Rick Dees. Dees became the hottest property in radio when he began hosting the top-rated morning radio show in Los Angeles on KIIS-FM in 1981. In a short time, he turned KIIS-FM into the #1 revenue generating radio station in America. With his often copied bits like Candid Phone & Dees Sleaze, Rick spent 23 years on KIIS FM thru the 80s and 90s until 2004. Rick was let go from KISS with no reason ever given.

After KIIS, Ricked spent a couple of years on air in L.A. at Movin' 93.9. in 2011 he hosted the morning show at KHHT Hot 92.3 for a year. This aircheck is from his year at KHHT.
