Golden Easter Egg | Harry Potter DIY

Feeling that your Easter is missing a little Harry Potter? Make an Easter egg with the Golden Egg design from The Goblet of Fire! It's actually pretty simple and quick!

If you don't want to fill it with candy you could always put other presents inside and give it away to a true Harry Potter lover, it's a great gift box!
Additionally it can become a great serving bowl on any Harry Potter party!

Things you'll need:

Cardboard Easter egg
Sculpting tools
Polymer clay (I buy black in bigger packages)
Spray paint
Acrylic paint
Brushes
Superglue (Only if you feel that the clay loosens a bit from the cardboard can you carefully lift the edges and secure it with some glue, I didn't need to)

You'll need a oven to bake the clay. Had it in the oven at 110°C for 30 min for each half, and than once more with the final details. Make sure to bake the clay according to instruction on the package.
