Part Two. I am right in the middle of my Tarot 500 Head Setup, and I am using the Soko Heli Tools "Soko Kit" to assist with the final setup. This is a fairly new and definitely cool little system! I decided to start a "Soko Kit" series so that folks who aren't necessarily doing this 500 build but would like the info on the Soko Kit can track it easily.

Most people are going to be setting up FBL heads these days, but I am going to go ahead and show the flybarred head setup. It's a little trickier because of the flybar and the additional geometry, but it's definitely doable. I'll probably do another video with the Soko Kit and a FBL setup when I get to my conversion.

If you know me, you'll know I am a bit of a meticulous builder, so I like things that let me get more precision. I am also just a huge fan of inventive ideas and cool concepts. The Soko Kit hits it on all points! I really like the idea of not having to remove the head to level the swash. : )

Anyway...In this video I go over leveling the swash, setting up zero pitch, maximum positive collective, maximum negative collective, and your aileron and elevator adjustments. I am using a home-crafted flybar lock so I don't have to think about that. Also, I show how I used a rubber band to "pull up" the slack from the head system so my measurements can be a little more consistent.
