By God! Someone's spiked the eggnog, George Bailey! If you know me, you know I live taking a clever horror twist to something familiar, a recent trend in horror that has given us such gems as Happy Death Day, Freaky, & even this year's Totally Killer. So when it was announced that Freaky co-scribe Michael Kennedy was penning a horror twist on perhaps the most iconic of all Christmas movies, I immediately booked the date in my calendar. While I never could have guessed all of the twists inside this horrific package packed with character actors giving it their all, I was certainly not disappointed when I saw this in theaters earlier in November. Now that it's available on Shudder, if you also like something a bit spookier but mostly familiar, you can't go wrong with this flick! See you tomorrow with something even weirder and a lovely classic screening that will melt your hearts! - Patrick Smith
