Backpacking Gear I’ll Be Using on the Pacific Crest Trail This Year | PCT 2023 // In this video, I’ll be sharing with you ALL of the backpacking gear I’ll be using on the Pacific Crest Trail this year.

I’m getting ready to start my southbound hike along the PCT and just finished packing up all of the gear I plan on bringing. I’ve made a TON of gear changes since my first PCT thru-hike back in 2018. I’ve even made quite a few gear changes since going on my big trips last year like hiking the 211-mile John Muir Trail in California and my 250-mile SoBo PCT section hike in Washington State.

After making quite a few gear changes and testing out a bunch of new backpacking gear earlier this year, I’ve finally got all of the backpacking gear I’ll be starting out my southbound PCT hike packed up and ready to go. Here’s all of the backpacking gear I’ll be bringing with me out on the PCT this year.
