The new Honda Activa 5G was unveiled at the Auto Expo 2018. The Honda Activa 5G, as the name suggests, is the fifth generation of the most popular Indian scooter. The new Honda Activa 5G features a new headlamp cluster, and will be available in two new colours.

The new Honda Activa 5G features a design similar to the previous generation of the scooter, but now comes with a distinctive full-LED headlamp and position lights. This feature of the new Activa 5G is a segment-first offering.

The Honda Activa 5G also comes in two new shades - Dazzle Yellow Metallic and Pearl Spartan Red. All the other seven shades from the Activa 4G will be carried over to the Honda Activa 5G. The new Activa 5G also gets a metal cover over the muffler.

The Honda Activa 5G comes with a convenient 4-in-1 lock, which also houses the seat-release button. The addition of a dedicated pocket for keeping the mobile phone is also a nice touch.

The new Activa 5G also comes with shopping hooks on the front (fixed) and the rear side (retractable) of the front loading area (place where the rider keeps his legs). The Activa 5G has got mobile phone charging sockets, just like in the previous model.

With an 18-litre underseat storage, a thoughtfully-design front parcel compartment, the new Honda Activa 5G features enough practicality. The dual hooks will also help a lot in transporting your stuff with ease.

The new semi-digital instrument cluster in the Activa 5G gives all the vital information you would expect. The instrument console also notifies when the scooter needs to be serviced. In addition to this, there is an ECO indicator which helps the riders to boost the Activa 5G's mileage.

A 5.3-liter fuel tank capacity and an impressive ground clearance of 153mm, makes the new Honda Activa 5G, a practical option for India.

The new Honda Activa 5G features the brand's combi-braking system. The system applies both brakes in a safe way, even when you press only one of the levers.

The 110cc scooter segment in India is very popular among the masses, and it consists of many strong competitors such as the Hero Maestro Edge, TVS Jupiter and the Suzuki Access. The previous Honda Activa 4G was slowly becoming outdated, and Honda has given the new Activa 5G enough features to perform well.
