Battlefield 1 Incursions is DICE's answer to the question of competitive gaming in Battlefield 1. The Incursions game mode is 5 v 5 combat on small maps. Every player picks a class with specific abilities and limited weapons. Each class is unique, so make sure you know the details. This video showcases the Battle Mechanic kit and vehicle gameplay, including the light tank and armored car. Teams didn't really know each other beforehand, and this was the first and only match I had as the "tanker" class / kit.

Many people are concerned about vehicles in competitive, but in my opinion, they work - tanks and armored cars are not indestructible behemoths. They can and will be taken down frequently, or will simply be run off the objective by a determined team. The Battle Mechanic is the only class / kit that can operate vehicles, and only one can be active at a time per side.
