Raw and evocative, Katie Who delivers soaring melodies of poetry from her heart and soul. Her sound is fresh and emotive, trancing us into the realm of magic with hauntingly beautiful electric guitar and atmospheric layers of sound. Her fire is so tangible you can feel her warmth seeking out the corners of your soul and infusing your bones with deep feeling and a sense of connection. The truth echoing through her music is both potent and electrifying, you feel a part of something special when you're in the audience.

Winning "Battle of the Buskers" at the first Buskers by the Creek festival in 2014 kick started Katie’s career and enabled the release of her first EP. Her single "The Wolves" (2016) earned Katie recognition as a semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition. Later that year Katie took her solo show international, playing at a festival called "Indie Week" In Toronto, winning over hearts in Canada.

In 2018 Katie’s powerhouse performances were showcased in the Athletes Village at the Commonwealth Games and she was selected to play multiple shows at Splendour in the Grass (Global Village). A few months later The Katie Who band won the Gold Coast region "Passport to Airlie" competition. They were invited to perform numerous shows at the Airlie Beach Festival of Music and also appeared on a segment of Balcony TV.

2019 begun with shutter speed for Katie Who after being selected as runner up in the Bluesfest Busking Competition- the only solo artist in the top six finalists- sending her straight to the Delta Stage at Bluesfest Byron Bay.

In the last 2 years Katie found herself writing more music than ever before, exploring many modalities, settings and genres, including delving into sound healing, ceremony and song circles for the community. On her instagram she did a 90 day song writing challenge, posting a new song every day, one of which made the cut for her debut full length album, and is the first single "Gold and Silver" dropping in August.
