Welcome to Day 2 of the Spring Cleaning Spree 2024! Our kitchen cabinets are a spot in our kitchens that can easily be ignored throughout the year. Out of sight, out of mind, right? Today was the perfect time, then, to open those cabinet doors and see what dirt and grime was hiding away. Depending on what your cabinetry is made of will affect what type of cleaner you’ll want to use. If you have natural wood cabinets I love to use Murphy Oil, as it does really well to refresh the wood and bring back that beautiful natural shine. If you have painted cabinets, my go-to cleaning solution is a gallon bucket of water with a few drops of Dawn Dish Soap. I then use my three-towel system; one microfiber towel that is damp with the cleaning solution to clean, one towel damp with just water to rinse, and a third dry microfiber towel to buff and dry. Our cabinets can be a big job, so feel free to break it into sections if need be.
