KEWTECH SMARTPAT - Step by step WiFi Setup with KEWPAT App Developed by SimplyPats

Step by step guide showing you how to configure the WiFi connection between the KEWTECH SMARTPAT and KEWPAT App developed by SimplyPats.

The KEWTECH SMARTPAT has two operating modes with regards to carrying out PAT Tests; Manual Test mode and Remote Test Mode.

Remote Test Mode is used when you want to Remotely Control the SMATPAT using your Android Mobile Device or Tablet using the KEWPAT App developed by SimplyPats. An iOS version is also planned and in development as of Jan 2018.

Once the WiFi connection between the SMARTPAT and App has been setup, you can use the App to remotely tell the tester which Test Sequence to carry out as well as record Appliance Information (id, Description, Site, Location etc).

In Remote Mode, test results are transferred to the App in real time with all functions of the SMARTPAT being carried out using the App.
