Poland’s new president, Karol Nawrocki, was officially sworn into office on Wednesday. Thousands of his supporters flocked to the Polish capital to welcome the new head of state. In his first address, he voiced his Euroscepticism and set the scene for a difficult cohabitation with the current government.

What will President Nawrocki’s foreign policy agenda be? In his election campaign, he expressed criticism of Ukraine and the European Union. In today’s speech, Ukraine was not even mentioned.
