Compared: Fake vs Genuine Apple Magsafe Chargers

Is there anything wrong with buying a fake/cheap Apple charger? Today I take a look at what's to look out for, and how not to get conned.

This charger was listed by an Australian seller as a genuine Apple charger - and I can understand why. The charger is virtually identical to a legitimate charger of the same type, but only has slight features to shows its faults.

This charger is actually very dangerous, the grounding circuitry between the charger and the Macbook actually finds itself interacting with the hot side of the AC mains - very concerning.

Be careful with these eBay chargers, if you need a charger, spend the extra small amount of money at the Apple store (considering if they actually still stock it and don't follow their planned obsolescence tactics) and buy a genuine model directly.
