The London Bridge (also known as The London Arch) is a natural rock formation made of limestone. It's located along the Great Ocean Road in Victoria, Australia. Alongside the famous "Twelve Apostles," this is one of the recognizable scenic elements that make the Great Ocean Road one of the most picturesque tourist routes in the world.

The London Bridge is also known as the "London Arch" due to its shape resembling an arch. It was previously a double natural bridge, connecting to the mainland. However, in January 1990, one of the bridge spans collapsed due to erosion, leaving only one arch, and the formation was officially renamed to "London Arch". Several tourists who were there on the other arch at the time of the collapse, fortunately, were unharmed and were later evacuated by helicopter.
Despite the collapse, local signs and guidebooks still use the term "Bridge" rather than "Arch," and even all-knowing Google traditionally refers to this place as a Bridge.

This natural landmark attracts thousands of tourists annually due to its stunning beauty and breathtaking views of the Southern Ocean. It offers a spectacular view of the sea and the coastline, making it an ideal spot for landscape photography and nature appreciation. It's also a great place to witness beautiful sunsets, and traditionally, a large number of tourists gather here in the evening. Shooting videos (and especially recording audio) here can be quite challenging due to the large crowds of visitors, though not as massive as those around the 12 Apostles Lookout.

Below, along the coast, there is a fairly extensive sandy beach, the eastern part of which also serves as a colony for some species of penguins. They can sometimes be observed there in the evening. Access to the beach is prohibited.

Interestingly, in Australia (as well as in the rest of the world), there are numerous natural formations with the same name. Even in Victoria, Australia, where the landmark is located, there is at least one more with the same name, located on the Mornington Peninsula.
