Wymond Miles of the San Fransisco-based Fresh & Onlys knows how to get sounds out of his head and into the world. Not only is the guitarist particular about his gear — down to the tubes in his amp — but he's a home recording enthusiast as well. Miles recently picked up a Tascam 3888 8-track reel-to-reel, on which he recorded his band's latest EP, Secret Walls.

We also spoke with Wymond about his instrument and touring rig. His main axe is a Vintage Fender Jazzmaster, stock save for a stripped finish which Wymond believe contributes positively to the guitar's overall airiness. Oh, and in case you were wondering, this interview was conducted just outside of the interview tent.
